What People Are Saying
"Working one on one has been truly engaging and encouraging. Having personally floundered repeatedly in the compositional arena Noah quickly identified a course of action which already has resulted in substantial improvement in just a few weeks. His ability to listen, offer advice, identify intent and create a unique personal approach fosters a relationship of trust and confidence. Those willing to put in the work will reap huge personal gains. His background is quite impressive but more so is his desire to share his knowledge and expertise in a mentorial fashion. His self effacing personality is disarming and his breadth of knowledge is a well of content to be applied to any individual situation.
Lastly, I believe if you follow Noah's process, let him engage in your desired direction you will develop a relationship that results in significant gains in your musical development."
Mentee
Noah is hands down the best. He will always give you more than you need so that you really get a concept under your fingers. Not only that but he actually teaches you how to work it into your playing, something no other course has done. The best thing is, if you’re stuck or would like some feedback then just reach out. He’ll give you honest useful feedback. He has done more for my playing in months than anyone has done in years. Thank you Noah 🤗
Noah Kellman has unusual range and depth for a young pianist and piano teacher. I first saw his instruction on YouTube where he was demonstrating techniques from pianists ranging from Art Tatum to McCoy Tyner to Robert Glasper. His performance was strong and his explanations were patient and clear.
Based on those viewings I reached out to Noah for private video lessons. I found he has the same personality and style 1:1 that he does in his videos. In my lessons we broke down critical concepts and discussed how I could apply them to my playing. I was so pleased with the lessons that I have now joined one of Noah's online classes for continuing instruction. I highly recommend Noah for anyone who is learning jazz piano and wants to take some serious steps forward with their playing.
Noah is a genius. He is so generous with his talent, knowledge, and passion and so gifted with his teaching of jazz that if all you can do is appreciate his class as the door to your personal growth as a musician, then you will have what you need to play jazz the way you've wanted to play jazz. Thank you, Noah. Brain to heart to fingers.
We've gotten a lot of great questions throughout the years, so here are some answers!
Most of the material is designed for intermediate to advanced pianists who already know basic chords and want to expand their creativity, harmonic vocabulary, and improvisation.
If you can play chords, scales, and simple songs but feel stuck repeating the same ideas, these resources are built to help you move beyond that.
Some products are accessible to earlier players, but the majority are aimed at musicians who want a modern, expressive jazz sound and deeper musical freedom.
No, but it helps if you already have some familiarity with chords and basic music theory.
Many students are coming from backgrounds like:
• classical piano
• gospel or church music
• pop or songwriting
• production or beat making
The goal is not to overwhelm you with theory, but to give you practical tools that immediately translate to music. Don't worry though, you'll still learn some important theory in the process.
Not at all.
Many students are:
• producers
• composers
• gospel players
• film scorers
• pop musicians
• keyboardists in bands
The harmonic and rhythmic ideas apply to any modern music that uses rich chords and expressive harmony.
Refund policies depend on the specific product and platform.
We offer a 7-day refund window on full video courses, like Jazz Piano Secrets, Jazz Piano Evolutions, and Reharm & Resolution Mastery, so you can try them out first.
We do not offer refunds on PDF resources since they are simple digital downloads, and once you download them, you have them.
For Private Lessons and Mentorship, please check the purchase page or terms for details.
Please contact support if you have questions before buying.
Many courses focus solely on traditional jazz education. There's nothing wrong with that, but these courses and materials are built with a modern approach.
We all know there's too much material out there and too little time, so Noah's methods are all about achieving the most possible improvisational freedom with a highly efficient practice schedule. No time wasted.
These materials are designed to help you understand how harmony and improvisation actually work, so you can:
• create your own ideas
• improvise freely
• break out of repetitive playing
• develop your own sound
You’ll learn systems and concepts that unlock creativity long term.
Depending on the product, the material may include:
• video lessons
• sheet music exercises
• MIDI files
• audio examples
• downloadable PDFs
• play-along demonstrations
Many exercises are intentionally short and practical, so you can start applying them immediately rather than spending hours on theory.
Most products include lifetime access.
Once you purchase, the material is yours to use and revisit whenever you want.
Yes.
Many products include downloadable PDFs, MIDI files, or audio files, so you can practice offline and keep them in your personal library.
All products are digital. Online courses can be viewed on the website.
Usually not.
Most materials can be used with:
• a piano or keyboard
• sheet music
• standard audio players
MIDI files can optionally be used in a DAW if you produce music, but this is not required.
You can watch courses and participate in certain community elements in a web browser, or on your mobile phone.
You might want to download the Discord app. As of March 5th, 2026, the community mainly lives on Discord.
Yes.
In addition to courses and resources, there are options for:
• mentorship programs
• private coaching

These programs are designed for musicians who want direct feedback and structured guidance in their playing.
Availability may vary depending on the time of year and number of students. For more information on personalized feedback, feel free to sign up for an entirely free consult call at the "mentorship" tab above.
That’s actually the most common reason people join.
Many students come in feeling like:
• they repeat the same chords
• their improvisation feels limited
• their playing sounds mechanical
• they know theory but can’t apply it
The exercises and concepts are designed specifically to break those patterns and unlock new musical ideas.
We totally get it!
Many lessons are intentionally designed by Noah to be small, focused exercises.
If you take a video course, it is very, very specific and step-by-step. You'll know exactly what to do in what order.
You can find video courses in the "Video Courses" category of the store. If it would be helpful, you can also book a free consult call at the "mentorship" tab above.
Remember, you don’t need to master everything at once. Even working on one idea at a time can dramatically expand your playing over time.
Depending on the program, you may have access to:
• community discussions
• live Q&A sessions
• support resources
You can also reach out to the support team if you experience any issues accessing the materials.
Yes.
Many producers use the materials to:
• improve their chord voicings
• create richer progressions
• develop more expressive harmonic textures
• break out of predictable loops
The MIDI and audio examples can also be useful for analysis and inspiration in production.
